At My Halal Stay, we aim to offer travel experiences that respect Islamic values while recognizing that halal can hold different meanings for different individuals and communities.
We believe that every Muslim traveler has their own level of comfort, understanding, and interpretation when it comes to what is considered halal or modest, and we fully respect that diversity.

What We Consider Halal
When we describe an accommodation as halal, this means that the property (according to the information provided by the owner or manager) serves food prepared in accordance with halal principles, does not serve alcohol, and promotes an environment that aligns with Islamic values.
However, we also understand that full verification of halal certificates for every property can be extremely time-consuming. Therefore, we trust our (Muslim) hosts and partners when they confirm that their property is halal.
Whenever possible, we will review halal certificates or request additional proof to ensure transparency and reliability.
Privacy and Modesty
We understand the importance of privacy and modesty in Muslim-friendly travel.
When an accommodation claims to offer a private garden, balcony, or swimming pool, our team will do its best to verify this. Through photos, videos or even live video calls, to ensure that it truly offers the level of privacy described.
Shared Facilities
In some destinations, accommodations may feature shared or communal swimming pools.
We always indicate when modest swimwear is allowed in such areas.
However, we would like to emphasize that this does not necessarily mean that using a mixed-gender swimming pool is permissible according to Islamic rulings.
This is a personal choice, and we respect every individual’s decision.
Our Ethical Commitment
My Halal Stay stands firmly against any form of injustice, occupation, or oppression.
We do not collaborate with or promote accommodations located in occupied territories or any properties that may contribute to the oppression of others.
We believe in ethical, responsible, and compassionate travel for all.

Our team strives for accuracy, integrity, and honesty.. But.. we are human and mistakes can happen.
